The Art Museum at the University of Kentucky is Lexington's premier art museum. It is located in the Singletary Center for the Arts and features artwork ranging from old masters to contemporary. The collection includes artwork from around the world from paintings, prints, sculptures and more. Admission to the permanent collection gallery is free. Traveling exhibition ticket prices vary.
Take a tour of this charming, locally owned and operated small batch distillery. Learn the process of making Oak Rum, Pure Blue Vodka and Devil John Moonshine from the still to the bottle. Enjoy a tasting after the tour (must be at least 21 or older), and browse the gift shop for original Kentucky products! Located in the barreling house of an old Lexington bourbon distillery in Downtown Lexington.
Ale-8-One soft drink has been bottled in Winchester since 1926 and is the only soft drink invented in Kentucky still in existence. Tours of the Ale-8-One factory are offered on Friday mornings by appointment. The Ale-8-One Company Store features many interesting specialty items and memorabilia.
